Kelley Smith graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Southern Institute, a small private college in Birmingham, Alabama. After using her degree to work as a retail buyer for the Alabama Space and Rocket Center and also in management for a large Alabama based department store, Kelley became a wife and mother of two boys who are now teenagers. As a professional photographer, she currently spends most of her time doing photojournalistic portrait photography for families and children and also fine art travel photography. Some of her most memorable clients have included Alabama's Governor Bob Riley, President George W. Bush, Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and other state and local elected officials. Kelley is politically active in the Alabama Federation of Republican Women where she edits and writes for their blog and serves at the organization's official photographer. Kelley is honored to serve on the Alabama Women's Commission. She also authors her own blogs which feature photography and healthy living. She and her husband are both very active at their church where her husband serves as a deacon. She and her family reside in Athens.
